Commitment with Asian and Chinese Art

While the economies of many Asian countries are growing at double digits rates, the wealth that is being created is not distributed equally. Art of the East has made a commitment to do what we can to assist the areas that are not benefiting from these economic expansions. We are committed to accomplishing this in two ways.

1.) We are committed to paying the artists, art students and small manufacturers a fair price for their (Asian and Chinese) quality products. We deal directly with these artisans that live in the smaller cities and towns and we offer them an outlet for their artwork.

2.) We are committed to return 10% of our profit to the rural communities where many of our artists reside. We will donate 10% of our profit to recognized Asian and Chinese NGO’s and local Chinese agencies that provide direct assistance to the artists, their families and communities. We hope our small contribution in this effort will stand as an example to other companies doing business with the countries of Asia. It is a beginning.
